The Detox Mask nourishes the scalp with B5 vitamin and cucumber extract and helps restoring pH level while deeply nourishes hair strands. It is especially recommended for oily scalp and fine hair. While applying the hair mask, its affectivity can be greatly increased if the mask is mixed with H20 Thermal water or Vitamin Serum.

These products of ours contain plenty of vitamins and minerals, which absorb into the scalp during use. While using masks, it is important to keep the hair and the scalp warm, so to achieve this, we recommend using hair caps.

WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS OF THE DETOX MASK?

 It is a speciality of the mask that it contains natural fruit acids, which work as anti-ageing agents and antioxidants protecting the cells from the harmful effects of free radicals and boosting collagen production.

It contains lactic acid, blueberries, glycolic acid from sugar cane, citric acid from oranges and lemons, malic and tartaric acids from maple sugar. Its vitamin E content prevents premature ageing of the skin and the early onset of scalp problems. They also help neutralise the harmful effects of UV rays. They fight against external environmental pollutants that damage the scalp and have a skin rejuvenating effect. They reduce skin fragility, accelerate wound healing and protect red blood cells from damage. They have elasticising, soothing and anti-inflammatory effect and help maintain the skin’s protective barrier. They also add shine to the hair.

Castor seed oil is one of the densest vegetable oils, with many beneficial properties. Among other things, it strengthens hair, eyelashes, eyebrows, nails and stimulates hair growth. Thanks to its ricinoleic acid content, it has anti-bacterial properties, making it effective in the treatment of inflamed and sore scalps. It gently regenerates dry, dull, chemical-treated hair and also helps against hair loss. Extremely moisturising, it is an effective aid in the care of cracked, irritated skin.

The broccoli seed oil is excellent for nourishing and moisturising both hair and skin. It has a silicone effect on the hair, smoothing out damage and unevenness on the surface of the hair shaft, thus helping to comb the hair. Thanks to its unique fatty acid content, it leaves hair shiny and glossy. By coating and conditioning thin, fragmented damaged strands, it gives hold and shine to dry, damaged hair without leaving it feeling greasy or heavy. Excellent for all hair types, but especially recommended for curly, damaged, chemically coloured or chemically treated hair, lifeless and dry hair.

How to use the Detox Mask product?

Natural shampoos do not contain such chemicals that would make the hair soft, so during the first use it could be surprising that hair ends become a bit porous. This can be perfectly compensated by the natural hair mask, resulting in the hair ends being easy to comb, soft and extra nourished. The products work in a system and deliver their effects synergically, so it is important to always use the Oxygeni Hair shampoo with a matching Oxygeni Hair conditioner that nurtures hair ends. 

Solely natural hair masks have to be rinsed very thoroughly. When not well rinsed, the herbal active ingredients can make the hair feel heavy at the roots, this is especially true for thin hair or if your scalp is prone to get greasy. Treatment time is generally 5 minutes but can be 1-2 minutes when used as a conditioner or even 45 minutes for deep hydration treatments. This depends on the texture and condition of the hair. In any case, it is worth rinsing thoroughly after the treatment, gently rubbing, and massaging the scalp under running water.

Possible hair care uses

Basic Formulation – Our Detox Mask can be used as a hair end treatment and as a scalp treatment. If your scalp is only slightly oily, apply a walnut-sized amount to your scalp after shampooing and massage in thoroughly, apply to the ends of your hair and leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse.

If your scalp is oily and your hair is flat, apply the mask only to the ends of the hair and leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
